Cornerstone UMC is committed to showing children God’s love and grace through age appropriate lessons that help children apply the teachings of Jesus in their lives. We believe everyone can make a difference, even our littlest disciples!
Wednesday 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Children 3 years to 5th grade participate in interactive lessons that help strengthen their knowledge of the bible and build relationships with God and others. We have praise time, drama, art, games, scripture reading, and more! One Wednesday a month we have “Love Forward.” These Wednesdays are for mission work to help those in need in our church and our community.

Children’s Celebration Sunday
Held during 10:15 a.m. worship services on Sunday
All children are invited and encouraged to participate in worship with the entire congregation. During the service we have “Children’s Moment” which is when all the children gather together in the front for an introduction to the lesson for the day. Following Children’s Moment, 1st grade-5th grade join together in the classroom for choir practice. 1st Grade through 3rd Grade stay for a lesson, art, and game. 4th and 5th graders join their parents for the remainder of the service and have the opportunity to read scripture, serve as an Acolyte, and serve as a Cross Bearer to help them further develop into young disciples.
Our Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten classes start at 9:30. They enjoy a time of fellowship and then they participate in a fun lesson with art and games. We help them develop socially and learn what it means to love God and others.
